About this service
ResumeAI is an independent portfolio application operated by Atul Sutar. It provides evidence-grounded resume analysis and career feedback. This policy applies to the hosted service at resume-analyzer.atulsutar.com.
Information the service processes
Account identifiers supplied when you sign in, such as your user ID, email address, and display name.
Resume files, extracted resume content, optional job descriptions, structured analysis results, exports, and basic provider-usage metadata.
Operational metadata needed to secure and maintain the service, including request identifiers, timestamps, status codes, and latency. Full resume text, job descriptions, credentials, and API keys are not written to application logs.
Where information is stored
Account, analysis, entitlement, and report records are stored in the application’s hosted PostgreSQL database.
When you connect Google Drive, uploaded resumes and report backups are stored in a visible “Resume Analyzer” folder in your Google Drive. The application can access only files it creates or that you explicitly share with it.
Google OAuth credentials are encrypted before database storage. Temporary extracted document text is cleared after analysis.
AI processing
Resume content and an optional job description may be sent to the AI provider identified in the application when you request an analysis. The provider is used to produce structured career feedback and is not permitted by this application to invent employers, dates, qualifications, skills, or metrics.
Deterministic document checks remain separate from AI observations. Do not upload information you are not comfortable having processed for the analysis you request.
Your choices and deletion
You can disconnect Google Drive at any time. Disconnecting removes the stored authorization but intentionally leaves existing Drive files in your account.
Deleting an analysis removes its associated application records and, while Drive remains connected, its application-created Drive files when no other analysis references them.
You can revoke Resume Analyzer’s Google access from your Google Account security settings. For an account or privacy request, use the contact method published at atulsutar.com.
Service providers and retention
ResumeAI uses service providers for authentication, database and application hosting, optional Google Drive storage, and requested AI analysis. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments.
Information is retained while needed to provide history, exports, deletion, security, and service operation. This portfolio service is not intended for highly sensitive identity, financial, medical, or government information.
